Synopsis: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District is issuing a Sources Sought Announcement for Architect and Engineering Services to Design/Develop Design-Build RFP Construction Packages... Synopsis: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District is issuing a Sources Sought Announcement for Architect and Engineering Services to Design/Develop Design-Build RFP Construction Packages and conduct Construction Phase Services for the Clinical Expansion at the Dallas Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The sources sought is to determine the interest, availability, and capability of contractors to perform the work as described below. The award is anticipated to be a stand-alone “C” type AE contract and the estimated award date is on or about May 2023. The scope of the project includes the following: 3 Design-Build RFP Packages: Demolition of 101,072 GSF of existing buildings. Construction of a 1000 car multi-level parking garage with surface parking Construction of a new 212,623 GSF Clinical Expansion at the Dallas VAMC which provides consolidation of numerous existing mental health programs and departments that are currently spread throughout the facility and at offsite locations and site work improvements and upgrades to the Central Utility Plant (CUP) to support the new facilities. Perform an ITR on the DOR’s clinic design. Construction Phase Services. Responses: Responses are requested from both large and small businesses. Interested firms should submit a capabilities package to include the following: 1. Firm's name, address, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address. 2. Firm's CAGE CODE and DUNS Number. 3. Firm's interest in proposing on the solicitation when issued. 4. Qualifications of the contractor or team and experience in performing the work requirements stated above. Firms must submit past demonstrated experience, similar in scope and magnitude to this project that the contractor or team has performed. Specialized competencies include Clinical and Mental health planning, Physical security Risk Assessment, and Medical and Logistics planning, MEP for Utility infrastructure design. 5. Firm's business size – Unrestricted, Small Business, SDV, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, and/or WOSB, etc… 6. Firm's Joint Ventures (existing), including Mentor Protégés and teaming arrangement information. 7. Responses are due August 24, 2022. Interested firms shall provide the above documentation in one pdf. Responses to this sources sought announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. This sources sought announcement is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any material provided in response to this sources sought nor return the data provided.
