The Mission Installation Contracting Command – Installation Readiness Center (MICC-IRC) has a requirement to procure Food Services (FS) under the Army Food Program to provide quality services in support of the installation food service program that supports the Leavenworth Corrections Command inmates with flexible, efficient and cost-effective service. The service outlined in this requirement encompasses dining facility management functions, food preparation, Department of Labor (DOL) food service training, and facility sanitation (in designated areas). Performance criteria for overall dining facility duties fall under Contractor responsibilities. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform the services defined in this PWS except for those items specified as Government Furnished Property (GFP) and services at the Fort Leavenworth military prison facility. The use of NAICS code 722310, Food Service Contractors, was determined the most appropriate because it comprises of establishments primarily engaged in providing food services at institutional, governmental, commercial locations on a contractual arrangement for a specified period of time. The product service code is M1FD, Operation of Dining Facilities.
