SCOPE: This project requires all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision as required for the project elements as described for the following work: The scope involves hazardous materials abatement and demolition activities in Building 3400, including removing asbestos beneath floor tiles, lead-containing paint (LCP), and asbestos-containing material (ACM) in walls. The contractor is responsible for demolishing walls in Room 1 to create doorways and removing sections of CMU suspected to contain LCP, as well as removing vinyl floor tiles and mastic in Room 2. Additionally, they are tasked with abatement and disposal of hazardous materials, obtaining all necessary licenses, permits, approvals, and notifications, disposing of waste, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. All work shall be completed as indicated on this SOW and the Contract drawings. The Contractor must coordinate with the 154 CES to access the work site as well as coordinate with the 154 CES environmental section for any hazardous materials storage/disposal. It will be the responsibility of the Contractor to restore the facilities to their original condition if any damage occurs during construction.
