NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT The 115th Fighter Wing Mission Support Contracting office intends to solicit and award a sole source contract, using the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), to M-PAK, INC, 11255 CAMP BOWIE WEST BLVD, STE 111, ALEDO, TX 76008-3692. This requirement is for provision of 36 EACH hard-shelled deployable cases with custom foam, which are intended to store, protect and transport the Joint Strike Fighter helmet and pilot flight jacket when the aircrew member is traveling on commercial and or military transport aircraft. Custom foam is required to fit, hold, and provide maximum protection for the helmet, flight jacket, and integrated pilot interface cord in order to minimize possibility of damage. The NAICS for the requirement is 326199, with a small business size standard of 750 employees. This notice of proposed contract action is not a solicitation for quotes, bids, or proposals. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information to the point of contact no later than the date shown on this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
