This notice is for planning purposes only. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow up information requests. All interested parties should respond. The 115th Fighter Wing intends to issue a solicitation and award a firm-fixed price contract for project XGFG182003 F-35: ADAL B409 (Engine Shop). The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. All interested offerors shall provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intent to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 23 November 2021, 2:00PM CST. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include: (1) Positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor. (2) A completed and signed Source Sought Information Request Form. (3) A listing of projects completed during the past six years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, contract number, location, and point of contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor. (4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this solicitation, it may be advertised as unrestricted. PROGRAM DETAILS: The 115th Fighter Wing at Dane County Regional Airport -Truax Field, Madison, WI is conducting market research seeking capable sources for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary to add/alter B409 Engine Shop. The project includes renovating 5,924 SF of existing aircraft engine maintenance shop for Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI), installation of a new 65’x38’6” bridge crane in the engine maintenance high-bay area, and the addition of a 7-ton gantry crane adjacent to the high-bay service door. The project also includes renovating and reconfiguring existing restrooms. Typical work includes, but is not limited to minor demolition; site utilities/grading/paving; new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire detection/protection and technology systems; and upgrading the facilities architectural finishes. All work will be in accordance with design requirements, specifications, and drawings provided within the master specifications. This solicitation will result in a single construction contract for both new construction and alterations.
