Description: The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. The 194th Wing, Camp Murray intends to issue a solicitation and award of a contract to "Construct Air Support Ops Complex". “The scope of this project includes construction of a conventional shallow foundation with special reinforced masonry shear wall with brick and metal panel veneer main facility. The main facility square footage is approximately 56,600 S.F. and includes administrative, warehouse, simulation, and gym space. Adjacent construction will include the construction of several cantilever, concrete slab on grade covered parking structures; total square footage is approximately 15,000 S.F. Additionally, the scope includes the construction of a privately owned vehicle parking, government owned vehicle parking, and roadway extension of 41st Division Way. Construction is to be completed in accordance with applicable Unified Facilities Code Criteria.” The magnitude of this project between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intent to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 13 August 2021. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include (1) positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, and (2) a completed and signed Source Sought Information Request Form (see the attachment “SOURCES_SOUGHT_INFORMATION_FORM”) and (3) A listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry, relevant to new building construction, and within the magnitude of $10Mil and $25Mil. The type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and Point of Contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor. (4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
