This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concern. The 192 WG has an ongoing requirement to provide Airmen meals in support of Inactive Duty Training (IDT) for members who are a geographically separated unit (GSU). These meals will be provided for members whose primary duty location is Joint Forces Head Quarters (JFHQ), 200th Weather Flight (WF), and the 192d Medical Group Dettachment-1 (Det-1). The Virginia Air National Guard is seeking sources for Inactive Duty Training (one weekend a month) Boxed Meals delivered to 3 locations in Richmond, VA area in support of Inactive Duty Training (IDT). The requirement will be solicited and awarded as a single-award, with exact delivery dates, delivery locations for approximately 25 personnel. The requirement is to establish a contract for the delivery of prepared meals for lunch to the Virginia Air National Guard during Regularly Schedule Drill (RSD). The requirement is solely for the procurement of complete, packaged meals, to include all necessary condiments, utensils, etc. The requirement does not include the contractor serving meals, or setup of a dining area The intent of this notice is to determine if there are businesses who can support the requirement. While it is the intent of the VANG to maximize competition, the results of this sources sought announcement will determine if the VANG solicits competitively and if so, the type of set aside. When responding to this notice, interested vendors shall include a short narrative, no more than three, 8 1/2" x 11" pages, describing the company's capability to meet multiple requirements of boxed meals. At a minimum, the narrative shall include location of distribution centers, suppliers, number of delivery teams, and the number of days, notice is required prior to delivery, for ordering, packaging, and delivery to occur.
