The government reserves the right to cancel the anticipated solicitation at any time without any obligation to the offeror by the government.*** The 192d Wing Contracting Office, Virginia Air National Guard, intends to issue a Request for Quote (W50S9B20Q0006) to award a single firm fixed-price construction contract to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and non-personal services necessary to renovate the 203d Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineer (RED HORSE) Unit Control Center (UCC) at Camp Pendleton State Military Reserve in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and in strict accordance with the Statement of Work (attached). BRAND NAME: This project does not require the use of brand name specific products. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT: In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, this construction project has a magnitude between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The contract/construction completion date shall be within 120 days following the Notice to Proceed (NTP) TYPE OF CONTRACT: The anticipated contract shall be a Firm Fixed Price construction contract. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE / NAICS / SIZE STANDARD: This action is being procured on a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE basis. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 236220, with a size standard of $39,500,000. LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING: Your attention is directed to FAR CLAUSE 52.219-14(c)(3) Limitations On Subcontracting, which applies to this project and states by submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror/Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract… “the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees". KEY DATES: The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on or about June 22, 2020. The tentative date for the site visit is on or about June 30, 2020 at 1:00 pm local time, at Camp Pendleton State Military Reservation, Virginia Beach, VA 23451. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and shall follow site visit registration and base access requirements shown in the solicitation. In order to provide adequate time in developing answers, questions for the site visit conference must be submitted by June 24, 2020 via email to R. Frank Hartzell at roger.hartzell.1@us.af.mil and roger.f.hartzell.mil@mail.mil. The anticipated Request for Quote closing date is estimated to be on or about July 3, 2020. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation. For planning purposes, a list of anticipated site visit attendees is requested. The list should include Full Name of attendee(s), Title/Position, and Company Name and be provided to roger.hartzell.1@us.af.mil and roger.f.hartzell.mil@mail.mil no later than June 25, 2020.
