1. Notice This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if the equipment required in this purchase can be provided by one vendor, to assist in determining if the required salient characteristics for each type of item can met by multiple brands/equivalent items, and if the effort can be competitive and fulfilled by a Small Business of any type. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 339112 Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing, which has a corresponding Size standard of no more than 1,000 employees. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is considering all small business concerns at this time. 2. Description The 151st Medical Group Detachment 1 from the Utah Air National Guard has a requirement for specific tactical/field emergency care supplies related to The National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) training. Attached to this sources sought is a specification sheet which contains all the required items with their salient characteristics for the TCCC. Please note there are brand name or equal requirements. 3. Potential Offeror Capabilities/Supply Market Research Please provide responses to the following items: What is your company’s experience in providing these type of medical supply items? Include contract numbers (if applicable), a brief description of the work performed, period of performance, agency/organization supported, and individual points of contact (Contracting Officers or Program Managers). Is your company capable of providing all the required items in the stated quantities? If not which items is your company capable of providing? Include product descriptions for each item such as brand names, brochures, etc. Is there potential for your company to work with another vendor to provide all of the supplies? Are any of the items and/or their salient characteristics, in your experience, specific only to one brand with no equivalent products existing? If so please state which items, and the language which indicates this. Provide other relevant topics, concerns, or information not addressed in this posting.
