This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W50S99-25-Q-1001 is being issued as a Request for Quotes. The 164th Airlift Wing located at 4593 Swinnea Memphis, TN 38118 , is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Questions Formal communications such as request for clarifications and/or information concerning this solicitation must be submitted via e-mail to the address below referencing combined synopsis number W50S99-25-Q-1001. All answers (on a non-attribution basis) will be posted on www.SAM.gov web site. They will be contained in a document titled “Questions and Answers”. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this requirement including interested Small Business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. The 164th Tennessee Air National Guard Airlift Wing, Memphis, TN, located 4593 Swinnea Rd, Bldg. 2860, Memphis, TN 38118, currently performs repairs on 123 government managed vehicles (GMV's) in a myriad of systems including computer controlled, transmission, engine, hydraulic, braking and environmental control. Types of vehicles maintained include General Purpose (pick-ups, tractor-trailers, etc.), Material Handling (Forklifts and Aircraft Loaders), Construction Equipment (Loaders, Graders, Dump Trucks, etc.), Fluid Distribution (Firetrucks and Re-fuelers) and Special Purpose (Aircraft Tow Tractors, Cranes, Lavatory Service, etc.). This requires parts from both commercial and military sources. Proposed requirement will be a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. The objective is to provide a flow of parts and materials to support the maintenance/upkeep of the above named fleet in a timely and economical manner. The contractor shall be in a position to furnish as called for by the contracting officer or the authorized representatives. The type of solicitation issued will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of the Small Business Community to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), and Service- Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price IDIQ Contract. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a proposal as a contractor no later than 4:00 pm, 13 November 2024 EST. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include a (1) a completed and signed Sources Sought Information Request Form (attached to this posting) and (2) A listing of past performances, both for government and private industry. The type of requirement, dollar value, Contract number, location, and Point of Contact are to be included. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this requirement, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
