FAR 52.232-18, Availability of Funds Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government’s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. Award will be made to the offeror who represents the best value to the Government as outlined in accordance with the criteria set forth within the solicitation. Persons intending to submit a bid are strongly encouraged to attend the Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit on 16 August 2022 at 9:00 a.m. Central Daylight Time. The project consists of contractor furnishing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for Fire Pumps Emergency Backup Generator, Air National Guard Base Memphis, TN at the Memphis International Airport. Project includes installing a 400k Emergency Diesel Backup Generator in accordance with Pickering Firm, Inc. design plans and per the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The generator shall be installed on a new concrete pad (remove/replace sidewalk as indicated in design plans) It shall include any conduit, cabling, and electrical work required to connect the new generator to existing panel. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible bidder whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, considering price and other price-related factors. The contracting officer will award to the offeror whose offer represents best overall value to the Government. The Government intends to make award without discussions. However, the Government reserves the right to hold discussions if it is in the best interest of the Government to do so.
