This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The 164th Airlift Wing located at 4593 Swinnea Memphis, TN 38118 , is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for a single award contract to be prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 334310 Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing, with a Small Business size standard of 750 employees. This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-87. This Request for Quote (RFQ) for Notification and Warning System Equipment is being set aside for Total Small Businesses. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract. If you cannot quote all items requested in this RFQ, please submit quote on what you can provide, as it may be considered if government determines best for the government, however it's the government's intent to award to a vendor who can provide all that is requested. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this requirement including interested Small Business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. The Tennessee Air National Guard, Memphis ANG Base, Memphis, TN has been tasked to solicit for and award a requirement to upgrade the Installation Notification and Warning System (INWS). The required Ultravoice Interface Cabinets with associated equipment and software license shall be from the manufacturer, Federal Signal. These products will be needed to integrate with the existing outdoor INWS. Proposed project will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The type of solicitation issued will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of the Small Business Community to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price Contract. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a quote as a prime contractor no later than 24 Aug 2021, 11:00 A.M. EDT. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include a signed Sources Sought Information Request Form (attached to this posting). In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
