The Tennessee Air National Guard at Berry Field Air National Guard (ANG) Base, Nashville, TN intends to issue an Invitation for Bid to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment to demolish and remove from installation an existing 27 ton HVAC rooftop unit (RTU) from building 803 and install a new 35 ton RTU at same location. Work includes removal of unit, airport crane permit, RTU curb adaptation, natural gas piping, electrical wiring for unit, devices, and controls, direct digital controls, fire alarm devices, and fire alarm panel programming. All work done for the Air National Guard will be in accordance with the Department of Defense Unified Facilities Criteria. The contract duration is 120 days after NTP. This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Business. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 236220, with a size standard of $39,500,000.00. The magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. Your attention is directed to FAR CLAUSE 52.219-14 (b) (4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states “By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees” applies to this project.
