This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) competed IAW FAR PART 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR PART 12, Commercial Items. Quotes failing to meet all the terms and conditions of this solicitation; to include buy terms, line-item descriptions, and attachments, may not be evaluated for award. One (1) firm-fixed price (FFP) contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. Any reference to the term “BID” in this solicitation is used synonymously with the word “QUOTE”. Please see FAR 13.004-Legal effect of quotations. The Puerto Rico Air National Guard has a requirement to obtain quotes for the Storm Doors Motors installation, maintenance, and repairs. This effort is led by the Fire Department and is meant to facilitate their daily operations and response time in emergencies. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332321 Metal Window and Door Manufacturing, and the Size Standard for Small Business is 750 employees. Period of Performance: 60 Days after contract award Site Visit: A site visit will be conducted on August 1, 2024 at 9:30AM EST for the purposes of showing site conditions where the project works are sought to be performed. It will be held at Bldg.3 Fire Station 156th Air Wing, Muñiz Air National Guard Base, Carolina, Puerto Rico. Interested Contractors are highly encouraged to attend since it is an opportunity to accurately assess what are the project conditions and get acquainted with the various performance requirements sought for the life of the contract.
