The purpose of this ammendment is to introduce a site visit: NOTICE OF PRE-BID CONFERENCE AND SITE VISIT: A site visit and project conference will be conducted on September 13, 2023 at 10:00AM EST for the purposes of briefing on the showing site conditions where the project will be performed. This site visit will be held in Bldg.3 located at 156th Air Wing, Muñiz Air National Guard Base, Carolina, Puerto Rico. Interested Contractors are highly encouraged to attend since it is an opportunity to accurately assess what are the project conditions and get acquainted with the various contract performance requirements sought for the life of the contract. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) competed IAW FAR PART 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR PART 12, Commercial Items. Quotes failing to meet all the terms and conditions of this solicitation; to include buy terms, line-item descriptions, and attachments, may not be evaluated for award. The Puerto Rico Air National Guard has a requirement to obtain quotes for the Storm Doors Maintenance and Repairs. This service is requested by the Fire Department and is meant to facilitate their daily operations and response time in emergencies. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332321 Metal Window and Door Manufacturing and the Size Standard for Small Business is 750 employees. Period of Performance: 60 Days after contract award Basis of award: Award will be made to the lowest priced quote that meets all the technical requirements specified in this solicitation and outlined in the PWS. The Government intends to award a contract without discussions with respective offerors. Proposal’s that fail to meet the government’s schedule and ALL technical requirements will be deemed technically unacceptable and disqualified from competition.
