No other changes were made to the solicitation document. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NAICS Code: 238220 - Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors 156th Wing, at the Muniz Air National Guard Base, Carolina, Puerto Rico intends to issue an Invitation for Bids to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary to replace existing 80 tons HVAC chiller with a high efficiency systemusing R32, R454B or other non-ozone depleting HVAC equipment. Replace three air handling units, VAV boxesand replace the insulation material at the mechanical room pipes and ducts. All work shall be conducted per specifications in the Scope of Work contained in this solicitation. The project consists of an area of 22,496 square feet (SF). Building 80 serves as the main building for the Contingency Response Group and part of the Operations Group for the 156th Wing. Currently, the temperature of building 80 rises the 80 F degrees and is unbearable to work. As a mitigation, tactical HVAC units were temporally placed in different spots of the building to counter measure the heat. This building needs a new HVAC system to replace the non-serviceable chiller and three air handler units. The main purpose of this project is having an adequate temperature control in the working areas. The contract duration will be 120 calendar days after notice to proceed to include inspection and punch list. This project is set aside 100% for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220, with a small business size standard for Small Business is $19.0M average annual revenue for the past three years. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000.
