This document can be found in the attachments/links section of this solicitation. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SOLICITATION-GENERAL Document Type: Solicitation Notice Solicitation Number: W50S9323B0001 Classification Code Z – Z2AZ – Repair Or Alteration Of Other Administrative Facilities and Service Buildings Set Aside: Total 100% Small Business NAICS Code: 236220- Commercial and Institutional Building Construction Estimated Project Magnitude between $25,000 and $100,000 156th Wing, at the Muniz Air National Guard Base, Carolina, Puerto Rico intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed- price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary for the repair of building 80 auditorium and building 104 oil/water separator at 156th WG Muñiz Air National Guard Base (ANGB), Carolina, Puerto Rico (PR) per provided specifications in the contained Scope of Works (SOW) in this notice. Due to Hurricane Fiona, Building 80 auditorium got flooded and damaged floor carpet and partially the gypsum board walls. In addition, the building 104 oil/water separator got flooded and contains a lot of debris. Construction repairs/contract completion time is 60 days after notice to proceed to include inspection and punch lists. Your attention is directed to FAR Clause 52.219-14 (b)(4) Limitations on Subcontracting which states "By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract in the case of a contract for Construction by a general contractors, the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees" applies to this project. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236220. The small business size standard is $39.5 million. This action is being procured as a 100% Total set aside for Small business concerns. Tentative date for a pre-bid conference/site visit is on-or about 17 May, 2023 at 10:00AM Bldg.16, Room#157 Muniz Air National Guard Base, Carolina, PR. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and shall follow Site Visit registration and base access requirements shown in the solicitation. An expected date for award is set on-or about June 14, 2023.
