Synopsis The Puerto Rico Air National Guard (PRANG) intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single firm fixed-price contract for the Repair of Building 104 Bay Doors at Muñiz Air National Guard Base, Puerto Rico. The scope consists of all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary to accomplish the work. The primary purpose of the project is to remove and properly dispose existing fabric gate/bay door and all its components, provide disposal documentation to Base Civil Engineer (BCE). Re-use existing electrical connections for new doors. Provide and install three (3) new roll up doors hurricane rated, electric motor and manually operated. Place of performance is at Muniz Air Force Base, Carolina, Puerto Rico 00979. Magnitude of the project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Construction/contract completion time is 180 calendar days after notice to proceed to include inspection and punch list. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 238290 with a size standard of $16.5 million. This is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on or about 14 July 2020. The tentative date for the site visit conference is on 7 July 2020 at 9:00 AM. This site visit will start at the Contracting Office, in Building # 29, 200 Avenue Jose A. Tony Santana Muniz Air National Guard Base, Carolina, PR 00979. To expedite base access, we would need the following documents before the date of the site visit: Firm Name and Telephone Number Visitor’s Name Copy of Drivers License or any Identification Card in compliance with the Real ID Act Citizenship DD Form 369 Puerto Rico Certificate of Good Conduct The Bid opening will be electronic, and will take place on the aforementioned address on 14 August 2020 at 10:00am. Specific details will be posted in the solicitation. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend a site visit and shall follow base access requirements shown in the solicitation. All questions and requests for information (RFI) must be received not later than close of business 10 July 2020. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation. The evaluation factor is price. The Government intends to award without discussions. Interested offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM).
