The purpose of the sources sought is to identify available authorized businesses to provide the required item. This sources sought seeks to identify responsible potential sources to provide one ISU-70KC GEN X 4 door shipping container (or equal) used for Air and Ground transport of cargo for the purpose of deployment and general readiness requirements. The container is required to be airworthy and transportable on board a KC-135 aircraft. It needs to be compatible with standard military transport vehicles and equipment, and it should be able to protect the contents and be enclosed. Any doors should provide the maximum access possible to any cargo on board the container. The ISU-70KC GEN X 4 door shipping container (or equal) must meet the standards outlined in the attached salient characteristics document. This sources sought is being issued under NAICS Code 332311 Prefabricated Metal Building & Component Manufacturing and PSC 8145 Specialized Shipping and Storage Containers. The size standard is 750 employees. This sources sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. Pricing information is not being requested currently. It does not constitute a solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. All interested parties will be required to respond to the resultant solicitation separately from their response to this sources sought notice. A responsible potential source shall have registered in the System for Award Management at SAM.gov. Responders to this notice need to provide their business category (small or large). The response should be one page providing the following information: Business name and address, CAGE code, size classification, socioeconomic classification based on NAICS size standard and a point of contact. Please respond to this request by 10 September 2023 at 1:00 PM EST.
