The 129 Rescue Wing intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed priced contract to ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems US Inc, 1900 Airport RD Monroe, NC 28110. The statutory authority which permits other than full and open competition for this acquisition is 10 United States Code 3204(a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1(a)(2). Therefore, a Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation from a single source, will be issued to ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems US Inc for inspection and repair of Megadoor systems on Moffett ANGB, CA. The Contractor shall provide assessment and unscheduled repair of hangar door systems located at Building 662. Upon completion of all services, the hangar door system(s) for Building 662 shall be fully operational. ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems US Inc is the only contractor who is certified specifically to perform maintenance, repairs, or modifications to Megadoor Systems. The designated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238290, Other Building Equipment Contractors, with a size standard in number of $22M. Please note that this notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any response to this notice must show clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. Interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit complete information in writing describing their ability to provide the product/services no later than as specified in this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Any organization responding to this notice should ensure that its response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the organization's capability to perform the work. The Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted.
