Project Objective: The work covered by this specification consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, material and performing all work to: remove existing roof membrane and install Sprayed Polyurethane Foam (SPF) roofs for multiple buildings on the base. The parapet caps and metal flashing thought all roofs in the scope shall be replaced to match existing. Project Description: This project entails repairing complete roof systems for the following facilities: DPEZ 212218 Building 34 (Base Bid) DPEZ 212209 Building 9 (CLIN 2) DPEZ 212217 Building 26 (CLIN 3) DPEZ 212219 Building 35 (CLIN 4) This project is being bid as partially funded and a partially unfunded request. It is our intent to obtain funding for these roofs as soon as possible and as soon as funds are available. These roofs need repair. Drawings depicting the original design sections for the roofs are attached to this solicitation and can be used as a general overview of the existing roof structure. The work entails remediating existing roof failures, which could include removing and replacing existing roof materials and re-roof with Sprayed Polyurethane Foam (SPF) roof system. The contractor must protect all existing roof-top components such as, but not limited to, HVAC units, antennas, and appurtenances. Specifications for the SPF are also included with this solicitation. All demolished material becomes property of the contractor and must be removed and disposed of in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
