The work covered by this specification consists of furnishing all labor, equipment and material and performing all work to: install a duct bank to replace fiber optic line. This is a SRM project with plans and specifications provided for the project. The plans for this project were integrated into Replace Security Forces (DPEZ 029038). All work must be performed to maintain communications, install new utility, and reconstruct all damaged or excavated areas. Communication lines include, but not limited to connecting Building 20, Building 31A, Building 37 and any other communications associated with the project site, must be maintained throughout the project. This project does not install the fiber optic or copper lines but provides all infrastructure in order to facilitate the lines (see attached plans). Plans specifically related to the fiber optic line and Specifications 27 10 00, 27 13 23.00 40, and 27 21 10.00 40 are included as part of this project.
