SYNOPSIS – IFB WOSB Set-aside Document Type: Pre-solicitation Notice Classification Code J – Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment NAICS Code: 238220 – Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors Set Aside: Woman-Owned Small Business The 167th Airlift Wing intends to issue an Invitation for Bid to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary to upgrade the direct digital control (DDC) system at 222 Sabre Jet Blvd Martinsburg, WV 25405. All work shall comply with trade standards, all applicable codes and UFCs to include but not be limited to UFC 4-010-06 and AFGM 2019-32-02. The contract duration is 170 calendar days after NTP. This project is set aside 100% for Woman-Owned Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 238220, with a size standard of $15,000,000.00. The magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. Your attention is directed to FAR Clause 52.219-14 (b) (4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states “By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees”. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on-or-about 28 May 2020. The tentative date for the pre-bid conference is on-or-about 9 June 2020, 9:00AM EST, location will be in solicitation.
