The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business vendors. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. The West Virginia Air National Guard, Martinsburg, WV has been tasked to solicit for and award the following project: Provide annual major preventive maintenance services on four (4) air compressor machines, recommended by the machine manufacturer that will include: Inspection of all valves, filters, compressed air components, mechanical equipment, electrical, hoses, dust collectors and interlocks to ensure that they are performing in accordance with the manufacturer’s intent. Lubrication of all motors, shafts and moving parts as needed. Cleaning of all after-coolers, radiators and any other cooling device associated with air compressors. Changing of all oil and filters (to include in-line filters) in (or associated) with each compressor in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations. The contractor must be thoroughly familiar with and comply with all Federal Regulations as well as state, county, and city regulations for all materials used and the application thereof. The contractor will also be required to abide by all OSHA and base safety and fire regulations. Proposed project will be a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. The type of solicitation issued will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of the Small Business Community to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to compete and perform a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intent to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 10 April 2020, 2:00 PM EST. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include a (1) positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, and (2) a completed and signed Sources Sought Information Request Form (attached to this posting) and (3) A listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for Government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and point of contact are to be included. Indicate whether you were a prime contractor or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor. (4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
