The 17th Special Operations Squadron requires ten (10) side-by-side ATVs for personnel transport to support flightline operations in all weather conditions. Preferred models include the Can-Am Defender Max Limited or Polaris Ranger Crew XP Northstar Edition, with "brand name or equal" equivalents considered. Vehicles must seat 4-6 people, feature 4-wheel drive, an enclosed ROPS-approved cab with HVAC, 80+ horsepower, and a 2,500lb towing capacity. Delivery will be staggered to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with two ATVs within 30 days, three within 60 days, and five within 120 days of award.
