This is for the construction of a facility to house two refueling vehicles and protect them from frozen temperatures and heavy snow accumulation. Install appropriate spill containment, lightning protection, fire protection, heating and ventilation and comply with NEC hazard classification requirements. Modify existing utilities, pavements, fencing and landscaping as need to accommodate new facility. The construction/contract duration is 270 calendar days after Notice to proceed to include inspection and punch list, which provides adequate time to accomplish construction. This project is solicited as Total Small Business set-aside. All responsible offerors are encouraged to participate. The total contract duration is 270 days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 236220, with a size standard of $39,500,000 average annual revenue for the previous three (3) years. The magnitude is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.00. Bids are required to be valid until 31 December 2020. The date for the pre-bid conference/site visit is on 22 July 2020 at 10:00 AM local time. Interested contractors are highly encouraged to attend and shall follow conference registration and base access requirements shown in the solicitation. The bid opening date is scheduled for 17 August 2020 (extended to 20 Aug). Funds are not presently available for this contract.
