ANSWER: Tx: 5.75-6.425 - Question: Can you confirm the Ka-Band and C-Band RF-Feed polarization? Is it circular or linear? ANSWER: both linear and circular for both Ka-band and C-band - Question: Can you confirm that we also need to supply the BUCs and LNBs? ANSWER: BUCs and LNBs should be also be supplied and support required frequencies - Question: Is the end user expecting a single C/Ku TX/RX simultaneous feed? ANSWER: A custom feed supporting both is preferred but it can be a separate C and Ku feed - Question: Is the C-Band CP or LP? The LP is motorized? ANSWER: Circular and linear polization with LP motorization - Question: If it’s not simultaneous, are the C and Ku feeds electronically rotating/switching? (End of update) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation W50S8R-24-R-5027 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-05. This solicitation is set-aside 100 percent for Small Business. The NAICS code that applies is 334111 and business size is 1,250 employees. This action will result in a FFP purchase order, utilizing simplified acquisition procedures under Full and Open competition after Exclusion of Sources. Funds are presently available for this requirement.
