This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number W50S8N-23-Q-0010, in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13, and is in accordance with provisions and clauses effective in Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 2023-04 effective 2 June 2023). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 238110 and the small business size standard is $19 Million. The proposed acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. Requirement: B643 Remove and Replace Front and Rear Concrete Stairs CLIN 0001 – Demo concrete stairs at the north and south entrance of building 643. The existing concrete stairs to be demolished is (Platform Depth) five feet in height and 18” out from the top of first step leading to the entrance of the building. The rise will be 12” and the run will be 6” with the width being approximately 27’. There will be three rows of concrete steps to be installed. All debris will be hauled off site and depose of by the contractor. Safety measures will be put in place to protect pedestrians from ongoing construction. Ex: Work area limits/ease of access in and out of the building. Existing handrails will be removed and reused in the new concrete stairways. Install new stair trends on the front and back of the new concrete stairs. ** Please see attached Statement of Work (SOW attached) - Period of performance: 60 days - Award will be based on lowest price. -All quotes are due NLT 2:00 eastern on 3 August 2023.
