The purpose of Amendment 01 is to extend the solicitation due date until 25 June 2020 at 1200PM EST in order to give the Government an opportunity to answer questions in response to the solicitation. NOTE FOR CONTRACTORS WHO PLAN TO ATTEND THE SITE VISIT: All contractors are responsible for bringing/donning their own personal protective equipment (PPE). PPE should be appropriate for Chromium-VI regulated areas and comply with OSHA guidance (ref: 29 CFR Part 1910, Subpart I, Personal Protective Equipment). The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to clean and properly dispose of contamination from chromate residue in Bldg 7/Paint Booth located at Stratton ANGB, NY IAW the attached PWS, dated 1 Jun 2020. Pease note that a firm-fixed priced contract is anticipated and is subject to the Service Contract Labor Standards. Wage Determination 2015-4143 r14, dated 27 April 20 is applicable. A site visit is scheduled for 9 June 2020 at 1:30 PM EST. Due to security conditions, all offerors must register to attend the site visit. Visitors will be escorted by a Government employee from the Installation’s Main Entry Gate to the site visit location. You will be required to present the following information upon arrival: (1) Vehicle Registration, (2) Valid Driver’s License, (3) Proof of Insurance for Vehicle, and/or (4) Safety Inspection and Car Rental agreement if applicable. Any of the above information furnished by you is protected under the Privacy Actand shall not be released unless permitted by law and/or you have consented to such. We are currently monitoring developments regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic but at this time we do not anticipate that it will affect the date of the site visit or the potential award/ performance of any subsequent contract. In order to limit exposure to contractor, as well as base personnel, we are requesting that all contractors limit attendance to two (2) representatives per company. All persons attending the site visit will be required to wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines. Contractors may bring their own mask or the Government will provide one if necessary.
