Synopsis: OPERATIONS GENERATOR MAINTENANCE PROGRAM SOURCES SOUGHT. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis announcement; a market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential HUBZone, Small Businesses and Service Disabled Veteran Sources, Small Disavantaged Businesses 8(a), Women Owned Businesses or large business interest in the Greater Niagara region. Contractor's status will be verified through SAM and SBA. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. The New York Air National Guard may issue a solicitation and award of a contract for “OPERATIONS GENERATOR MAINTENANCE PROGRAM,” subject to availability of funds. The New York Air National Guard is seeking qualified, experienced sources capable of: providing all labor, material, expertise and supervision for a comprehensive generator maintenance program for one (1) Cummins 500KW DFEK Spec N Generator Set outfitted with QSX15-G9 Engine and PCC 2.3. The Gen set is to be maintained with NFPA 101 guidelines which will accelerate some maintenance actions. Maintenance is to be conducted on a bi-annual basis in the April and October time-frame. All generator maintenance actions will follow the guidelines set forth in Cummins manual A052B677 and SHALL follow section 6 in addition to maintenance table 6.2.1. Any and all ECU or engine monitoring software shall be kept up to date. Additional maintenance items to be performed are to include an annual load bank test that is capable of at least 400KW. An inclusive fuel test along with scheduled 3 year battery replacement shall also be completed. Responsible party for maintenance will have all needed materials on hand for completion of maintenance actions. - Approved/certified contractor on Cummins equipment with the ability to maintain equipment and provide updates on Cummins Insight and Inpower proprietary software - Emergency response must be within four (4) hours - Possible base year contract plus four (4) option years The place of performance is the 107th Attack Wing, Niagara Falls, NY at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, Niagara Falls, NY 14304. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a proposal no later than 26 Mar 2020 by completing and signing the Source Sought Information Request Form (link to form below).
