This Sealed Bid Construction Solicitation, offered in accordance with (IAW) FAR Part 14 & 36, is for the repair and replacement of airfield apron stadium and perimeter lighting. 1.1 The 177th Fighter Wing requires repair of the current lighting system to provide a safe atmosphere to accomplish mission related tasks. The aircraft hangers and parking apron light fixtures are antiquated and utilize inefficient lighting technology. 1.2 The Contractor shall completely prepare the site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, furnish labor and materials and perform work as required by the provided drawings and specifications. ref: 100% Design Drawings and Specifications included in this Solicitation Package 2. Location of performance is at the 177th Fighter Wing, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234 colocated with Atlantic City International Airport. 3. Magnitude of Construction: FARS 36.204 (e) Between $500,000 and $1,000,000. 4. Bid, Payment, & Performance Bonds are required for all proposals & contracts greater than $150,000.00 5. Bidders are solely responsible for reviewing and adhering to ALL solicitation requirements & amendments posted to www.SAM.gov. 6.1 Bidders shall interpret the solicitation (SF1442) and attachments; including the drawings, specifications, & SOW; to give meaning to ALL its parts. In the event of a discrepancy, generally the more stringent shall apply.
