This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found at FAR 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W50S8E20Q0006 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2020-08, effective August 13, 2020. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 334310 and the Small Business Standard is 750 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based on this standard. This procurement is classified as 100% set aside for small business concerns. The Small Business Office concurs with the set-aside decision. The 106th Rescue Wing of the New York Air National Guard requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing an upgrade to an existing Audio Visual Equipment. Completed system will transport multimedia data for use in conference room. System must integrate with current Department of Defense network infrastructure. Configuration of equipment may be modified to meet current network requirements. Contractor will install two new 65 inch TV’s with X?large mounts and 2 HDBASESET Matrix Receivers. A Savant Smart Host or equal with separate IP music audio server and standard license will be installed to support video requirements. Three 6.5 inch ceiling speakers and two microphones will be installed with a secure stem audio hub for network access. A Savant audio switcher or equal and an Atlona universal switcher or equal with a Bogen Amplifier or equal will also be installed to provide audio requirements. Wifi, speaker and Cat6e network cable will be provided and installed by contractor. An intercom system will be installed, touch screen zone control equipment will be provided and installed. A computer, provided by the installation will be installed by the contractor with assistance from 106th Communications Flight specialists. A network rack for mounting will be installed in the closet, all applicable equipment will be mounted. Two switched for lighting control, one wifi wireless dimmer switch and one wifi keypad dimmer switch. Operations check will be performed upon completion of work and end user training conducted. Operations check will validate system works in conjunction with current network requirements. 106th Communications Flight will provide qualified technicians to assist with network integration. Prior to beginning work, contractor will meet with 106th Communications Flight personnel to ensure provided solutions will seamlessly integrate with and meet Department of Defense network requirements. Approval of solutions must be documented prior to start of work. The contractor shall provide all equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and services necessary to complete the work as described in this document. Work location is in the wing conference room, building 345 room 256.ns must be documented prior to start of work. 106RQW/CF will supply a computer all other equipment. Contractor is responsible to properly dispose of any hazardous waste generated performing contract duties.

The 106th Rescue Wing of the New York Air National Guard intends to issue a solicitation and award of a contract to repair existing Trane HVAC equipment. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 24 July 2020. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include a (1) positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, and (2) a completed and signed Source Sought Information Request Form and (3) A listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and Point of Contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor. (4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
