The 105th Airlift Wing of the New York Air National Guard located in Newburgh, NY is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) to award a single firm fixed price contract for construction services, nonpersonal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment and supervision necessary to install a previously purchased Road Shark LP-48 with heat tracers which will be installed across the exit lane to prohibit vehicles from entering the facility through the exit lane. The project includes, but is not necessarily limited to: Sawcut pavement to meet manufacturers specifications. Trench area for new Roadshark. Install PVC, drainage rock, etc. Install Roadshark and concrete in accordance with manufacturers specifications and ASTM 39. Please see attached Statement of Work for complete details of this project. The contract duration will be 150 calendar days after notice to proceed. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 238120, with a size standard of $16.5M. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. The date for the preproposal conference (site visit) is Thursday August 3rd, 2023 @ 10:00AM EST. ALL attendees will need TWO (2) forms of government issued ID to enter the installation OR the NYS enhanced drivers license. I will NOT entertain a second site visit. I will gather all the questions and answer them after that date and post all questions and answers to this site. Solicitation Close Date will be 22 August 2023 at 10:00am EST.
