The 105th Airlift Wing of the New York Air National Guard located in Newburgh, NY intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) to award a single firm fixed price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary to install Roadshark low profile traffic spikes in Newburgh, NY (Orange County). The project includes, but is not necessarily limited to: sawcutting the pavement to manufacturer's specifications, removing existing subgrade, pouring a new foundation with perforated pipe to maintain proper drainage, and installing government furnished Roadshark LPC-48 traffic spikes with heat tracer. Location of spikes will be along the exit lanes to protect unauthorized entry of vehicles against that flow of traffic. The contract duration is 30 days after notice to proceed. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 237310, with a size standard of $39,500,000.00. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on-or-about 28 June 2022. The tentative date for the preproposal conference is on-or-about 19 July 2022, 10:00AM local time, location will be in the solicitation. Interested Contractors are encouraged to attend and shall follow conference registration and base access requirements shown in the solicitation. A site visit will follow the pre-proposal conference. All questions for the pre-proposal conference must be submitted by 12 July 2022 via email to joseph.kugler.1@us.af.mil. The solicitation and associated information and the plans and specifications will be available only from the Contract Opportunities page at beta.SAM.gov.
