Answer – This specific project does not require any demo or renovation work within the restroom areas. Question 2 – Asbestos survey states 2 pipe elbows located at kitchen ceiling, but there is no demo note(s) for ceiling system to be removed? Answer – The kitchen ceiling consists of t-bar and drop-in tiles. Description: The 152 Civil Engineer Squadron from the Nevada Air National Guard has a requirement to demo, remove, and dispose of VCT/ Rubber flooring, rubber baseboard, cabinetry, and wall section as defined in this PWS. The objective(s) of this project is to remove all Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) from Building #76 where the Science and Technology Academies Reinforcing Basic Aviation and Space Exploration (STARBASE) Program will operate. To ensure all ACM and Lead Containing Material (LCM) was identified, an independent contractor performed an Asbestos and Lead Survey of the proposed STARBASE footprint. The STARBASE footprint is within building 76 located at the Nevada Air National Guard Base in Reno, Nevada. The 152 Mission Support Group Contracting Office, intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for these services.
