This is a sources sought announcement; a market survey for information only to be used for preliminary planning purposes. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND A CONTRACT WILL NOT BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry, to include the Small Business Community: Small Business, Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsible contractors. Small business, Section 8(a), HUB Zone, WOSB and SDVOSB businesses are highly encouraged to participate. In the event a sufficient number of Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The Government will use responses to this sources sought to make an appropriate acquisition decision. The 145th Airlift Wing will be issuing a solicitation and awarding a firm-fixed price contract for a hotel in Wrightsville/Carolina Beach, NC for a 2 ½ day Strong Bonds event for lodging, meals, and meeting space(s). All numbers are estimates based on all eligible Service Members and their families. This requirement is subject to the availability of funds.
