Should this source sought notice is unsucessful to identify viable small business sources capable of providing the sought equipment, a direct award shall be issued to Research Electronice International, LLC, IAW FAR 13.106-1(b) (1)(i), Contracting Officers may solicit frome one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumastances of the contract action deem only once source reasonably available. The Government is seeking the purchase of a Mobility Enhanced Spectrum Analyzer (MESA 2.0) and DopeScope as specified: Why: Purchase of Spectrum Analyzing equipment to provide training and evaluation to RTUs for expeditious understanding of Spectrum Usage and Visibility, providing Commanders situational awareness of RF signatures. MESA provides Spectrum viewing to include cellular usage (upload signals) while DopeScope provides situational awareness and noise level of BT and WIFI signatures.
