This service is to troubleshoot, repair and refurbish two backup MV Vacuum Circuit Breakers. Vacuum Circuit Breaker # (1) one has problems closing. Vacuum Circuit Breaker # (2) two has a burned-out motor. Contractor shall adhere to standards in accordance with OSHA and NFPA 70E. Provide all necessary equipment, personnel, and materials for testing. Contractor shall work with 127 Civil Engineer office for electrical requirements while removing and installing breakers. At SANGB, contractor shall remove medium voltage vacuum breakers from building 854 and transport them to contractor’s location. Troubleshoot, repair breakers, and provide new parts to restore breaker to functionality. All repairs are in accordance with approved manufacturer recommendations and industry standards and parts. Test breakers at contractor’s location; when ready the contractor shall return breakers to SANGB, install and test breakers in building 854. Prior to acceptance, the Government POC shall observe testing. Provide a signed test report that certifies completion.
