PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR BATTLE CREEK ANGB MBMV222327 Repair East Entrance Guard Shack Solicitation Number: W50S84-22-R-0003 Restrictions: Small Business NAICS: 236220 Size Standard: $39.5M Project Magnitude: Between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 Title: Repair East Entrance Guard Shack Project: MBMV222327 Location: Battle Creek Air National Guard Base, MI 49037 (Calhoun County) Period of Performance: 180 Calendar Days Issue Date: Tentatively 8 July 2022 Pre Proposal Conference and Site Visit: TBA Closing Date: Tentatively 10 Aug 2022, 2:00 pm Award date: Tentatively August 2022 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Repair and replace existing guard shacks to good condition with established utilities which meet the current occupancy and use of the installation. This Guard Shack sits at the Main Gate. It provides space for up to two guards. There is a working bathroom. There is additional space for a microwave and small refrigerator. Along the north wall is bullet and blast proof windows. Just below the windows is a working counter. Above the windows is a shelf for additional storage. On the west and east walls is a manual door to allow the guard to monitor and interface with both inbound and outbound traffic. There is also blast and bullet proof windows flanking the doors. On the south side of the shack is a mechanical room and is inaccessible from the interior. In between the mechanical room and guard room is the restroom and additional storage space. The projects magnitude is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. This requirement will be 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. The following NAICS code 236220 will apply with the Small Business Size Standard of $39.5 Million. This project will be awarded as a firm-fixed price contract. The successful contractor will be chosen via Invitation for Bid procedures that result in the best value to the Government. All information required for submission of an offer will be identified in the solicitation. Solicitation W50S84-22-R-0003 information will be advertised electronically on or about 8 July 2022 at https://www.sam.gov/ with an anticipated award date of August 2022. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Award will be made to the responsible bidder whose bid conforms to the invitation for bids and is most advantageous to the Government considering only price and price related factors. This synopsis of proposed contract action is for planning purposes only and does not commit the Government to pay for any information, issue a solicitation, or award a contract. The synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Any costs incurred as a result of a response to this announcement shall be borne by the firm and will not be charged to the Government for reimbursement. Paper copies will not be available. The Government contemplates a basic contract period tentatively commencing on August 2022 through February 2023.
