PRESOLICITATION NOTICE FOR BATTLE CREEK ANGB MBMV212809 Repair High Bay Lighting Solicitation Number: W50S84-22-B-0007 Restrictions: Small Business NAICS: 238210 Size Standard: $16.5M Project Magnitude: Between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 Title: Repair High Bay Lighting Project: MBMV212809 Location: Battle Creek Air National Guard Base, MI 49037 (Calhoun County) Period of Performance: 180 Calendar Days Issue Date: Tentatively 8 July 2022 Pre Proposal Conference and Site Visit: TBA Closing Date: Tentatively 10 Aug 2022, 2:00 pm Award date: Tentatively August 2022 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Background: Contractor shall remove existing light fixtures and replace the existing light fixtures with LED lighting fixtures within various buildings at the Battle Creek ANGB. Contractor will also replace existing switches with dimmer switches. The projects magnitude is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. This requirement will be 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. Offers from other than Small Business concerns will not be considered. This project will be awarded as a firm-fixed price contract. The successful contractor will be chosen via Invitation for Bid procedures that result in the best value to the Government. All information required for submission of an offer will be identified in the solicitation. Solicitation W50S84-22-B-0007 information will be advertised electronically on or about 8 July 2022 at https://www.sam.gov/ with an anticipated award date of August 2022. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Award will be made to the responsible bidder whose bid conforms to the invitation for bids and is most advantageous to the Government considering only price and price related factors. This synopsis of proposed contract action is for planning purposes only and does not commit the Government to pay for any information, issue a solicitation, or award a contract. The synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Any costs incurred as a result of a response to this announcement shall be borne by the firm and will not be charged to the Government for reimbursement. Paper copies will not be available.
