The upgraded lighting are critical to the stability of the mission by reducing energy consumption footprint and utility costs in accordance with DOD and federal policies in Buildings 6950, 6954, 6955, 7010, and 7040 (non-high bay spaces). The existing lighting system has high-energy consumption costs and provides inadequate light to occupied and utilizing spaces. The average CI for all electrical infrastructure is 78 with individual facilities as low as 62. Antiquated lighting is also costing extensive maintenance for bulb replacement and disposal.
