The Maine Air National Guard’s 101st Security Forces Squadron seeks to acquire 20 tactical communication headsets, either as the 3M Peltor COMTAC brand or an equal product. Any equal offer must meet or exceed detailed salient characteristics, including single-channel communication, Coyote Brown color, ARC helmet mounting, talk-through situational awareness, at least 23 dB NRR, noise-canceling ambidextrous boom microphone, amplified PTT adapter with NATO/military wiring, and compliance with MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G. Only new equipment covered by the manufacturer’s warranty will be accepted; reconditioned, refurbished, or grey-market items are prohibited.
