SYNOPSIS OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTIONS This announcement constitutes a pre-solicitation synopsis of a proposed contract action pursuant to FAR 5.204. PLANNED SOLICITATION The 101st Air Refueling Wing (ARW), Bangor, Maine, intends to issue a solicitation for the services listed below. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued during the month of July 2021. Offers will be due 30 days from the solicitation issue date. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to System for Award Management at www.sam.gov. The solicitation documents will only be made available in electronic format, downloadable from sam.gov. No CD-ROMs or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Prospective Offerors are advised, to be eligible for award of the contract resulting from the solicitation requires an active SAM registration, to include satisfactory completion of the applicable online representation & certifications. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES The 101ARW Appropriated Fund food service operation consists of a main dining facility, The Horizon Inn. This facility is dedicated to providing full meal service and meeting the nutritional needs of Department of Defense (DOD) personnel who frequent the facilities. The Horizon Inn is a full service dining facility to include carry out service. South Portland ANG Station does not have a food service operation, therefore, meals will be prepared at the 101ARW Appropriated Fund Food service operation and delivered prepared at the specified time within the PWS. DRAFT PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT A draft PWS has been included with this notice for review and comment by industry. Please send questions and comments to the below identified POC’s no later than 15 June 2021. Nothing in this draft PWS is final and is subject to change at any time until a formal solicitation has been posted. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFP or RFQ.
