The Maryland Air National Guard Contracting Office is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties to provide GPS controlled commercial grade robotic lawn mowers. The capability is critical for saving time and resources by eliminating the need for key personnel to mow grass and increase the efficiency of lawn mowing operations by using GPS controlled robotic mowers. This solution will also reduce the need for manual labor and associated industrial safety risk. The technical specifications are referenced in Table I of this document and attached statement of work. The intention is to procure this commodity on a competitive basis. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition, and multiple awards MAY be made. All Small Business Set-Aside categories will be considered.
