The Maryland Air National Guard Contracting Office is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties to provide Load bank Trailer with Integrated Cable Real System. The capability is critical for testing and maintaining emergency backup generators. These generators support essential facilities and command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems vital to the Wing. the 175th Wing Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) requires a modernized, trailer-mounted load bank solution that incorporates advanced features such as remote load control, data monitoring, and an integrated electric cable reel. This innovative system will enhance personnel safety by minimizing direct contact with high-power cabling during testing. The trailer-mounted design will also provide improved mobility and flexibility to test generators at various locations. The intention is to procure this commodity on a competitive basis. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition, and multiple awards MAY be made. All Small Business Set-Aside categories will be considered.
