Using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquistion Procedures, the Maryland Air National guard is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the inspection and testing of Back Flow Prevention Devices. The contractor shall test for evidence of dripping, leaking, damage, and improper installation in ordered to protect driniking water supply. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties must quote on all request outlined in the Performance Work Statement. A firm fixed price contract will be made based on overall best value to the government. The basis for award will be based on the lowest price and technically acceptable. Questions are due no later than 12:00PM, 25 March 2021.
