Document Type: Pre-solicitation Notice Classification Code Y1AZ– Construction Of Other Administrative Facilities and Service Buildings Set Aside: Women Owned Small Business NAICS Code: 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction The Maryland Air National Guard intends to issue an Request for Proposal to award a single firm fixed-price contract to repair/replace existing fire alarm system with a new high expansion foam system for Hangers 2050 and 2070. A new pumphouse will also be constructed. Contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, equipment, tools, materials, licenses and permits, supervision, and quality control necessary to perform and execute the work. The project will also be required to tie into the existing Monaco Enterprises Fire Detection system. Vendors will need to work with Monaco Enterprises or have technicians that are certified to work on the system. The contract duration is 365 days after NTP. This project is set aside 100% for Women Owned Small Business. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 236220, with a size standard of $39,500,000.00. IAW FAR 36.204(f), the magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Your attention is directed to FAR Clause 52.219-14 (c) (4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states “By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least 25 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees”.
