PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ISSUED ONLY TO CONDUCT A MARKET RESEARCH STUDY FOR AN ANTICIPATED REQUIREMENT. This sources sought announcement is seeking vendors that may be able to perform this requirement in order to support a competitive procurement. Accordingly, the U.S. Government highly encourages all interested small businesses in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantage Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women-Owned Small Business concerns) to respond to this sources sought. All interested parties must describe their identifying capabilities in meeting the requirements at a fair market price. This is not a request for quotation or proposal. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. If a solicitation is issued for this requirement it will not be issued under this number. This synopsis is issued for the sole purpose of conducting market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. The designated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 721110 - Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels, with a size standard of $35M. Currently, the MA ANG has multiple long-term BPAs established for lodging accommodations in the local area of Westfield, MA The Government is seeking to establish a BPA for Lodging support that has the capability to support MA ANG operations. The results of the sources sought will be used is to determine the feasibility of establishing a BPA(s) based on proximity to Barnes ANGB. BPA(s) are anticipated to have an ordering period of up to five (5) years period for lodging accommodations. BPA calls will be competed among BPA holders, and will contain a more detailed information if solicited. The MA ANG is conducting market research for the following: 1. Lodging accommodations within a 30 minute driving distance of Barnes ANGB. 2. Reservation Services from vendors to set up accomodations. (NAICS – 561599; SB Size Standard of $22M) Responses should be submitted on the provided Response Form provided and should include (1) name and address of firm, phone/fax numbers, email address and point of contact; (2) DUNS Number and/or CAGE Code, if available; (3) type of small business, e.g., woman-owned, service-disabled veteran owned, small disadvantaged, etc.; (4) firm's experience; and (5) firm's past performance with federal, state and local government agencies and/or commercial entities within the last three (3) years. If applicable, also include GSA Contract number, multiple award schedule (MAS) category’s, and contract end date. Also include the following with the responses: a) Minimum lead time for changes (increasing or decreasing room quantity) b) Included amenities – (e.g. parking, transportation, laundry, cable, wireless internet, and so on) c) Room size (in square feet) d) Are you the property owner, or property management company?
