This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information from qualified sources with special interest relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 336999 – All Other Transportation Equipment Manufacturing. The Government will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided. This Sources Sought does not constitute a commitment by the Government. Information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and will not be released. Contractor participation is not a promise of future business with the Government. Requirement: The 184 Wing, Kansas Air National Guard is conducting market research to ensure adequate small businesses are available to procure a 6X6 UTV under a small business set aside. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS FOR 6x6 UTV 1. Must have payload capacity of 1,700lbs or greater 2. Must have bed with payload capacity of 1,000 lbs or greater 3. Must be at least 6 wheeled drive selectable 4. Must be electronic fuel injection (For safety reasons, no cable throttle) 5. Must be liquid cooled engine 6. Must have hi/lo transmission, to include reverse 7. Min speed equal to or greater than 45 mph 8. Must have power steering The NAICS - 336999 is part of the SBA Non-Manufacturer Rule Class Waiver listing. The Kansas Air National Guard is seeking businesses who are authorized distributors of the equipment listed below under NAICS 336999 and Product Service Code (PSC) of 2340. To qualify as a small business seller your company must meet the requirements outlined by the SBA under the NAICS code 336999. Item Description QTY 0001 6X6 UTV. It is the responsibility of the interested source to demonstrate to the government the interested party is an authorized distributor of the Original Equipment Manufacturer. In addition to confirming status as an authorized distributor of the OEM you must include the following information: Company name, address, point of contact, SAM.gov UEID and email address. Size status and representation/s of the company (i.e., Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), HUBZone, Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), Large Business, etc.).
