The 183d Wing Base Contracting Office intends to issue a Request for Quote to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and non-personal services necessary to perform the Repair Wing HQ (Auditorium and Public Affairs Office) in Springfield, IL (Sangamon County). The existing stage needs to be re-configured for better presentations and stage access. The public affairs office need to be renovated for more efficient space. Work of this contract comprises providing all materials, tools, equipment, and labor necessary to add additional stage space and steps in the auditorium and demolish a wall in the public affairs office. The contract duration is 90 days or less after notice to proceed (NTP). This project is set aside 100% for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 236220, with a size standard of $39,500,000. The magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. Your attention is directed to FAR CLAUSE 52.219-14 (b) (4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states “By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees” applies to this project. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on-or about 27 July 2020. The tentative date for the site visit is on-or about 04 August 2020, 1:00PM local time, location will be in solicitation. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and shall follow site visit registration and base access requirements shown in the solicitation. The Request for Quote closing date is scheduled for on-or about 25 August 2020. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation. Interested offerors must be registered in SAM.
